My greatest fear is that where I am heading there is nothing

This is the primal fear. I fear that what I am looking for does not exist. Even worse: If I find it, it will not give me the peace of mind, joy, and freedom ‘I was told’ it is. 

Luckily, there is no way back for me anymore. Something in me keeps me going. Despite the greatest fear.
